Thin bed masonry is widely used in Belgium & Holland and Integral have pioneered the use of thin bed masonry in the UK at the new School of Architecture & Planning at UWE. Tim Mander has worked with Oxford Brookes University, BDA and various representatives from the brick industry on a DTI Partners In Innovation (PII) project to provide guidlines on the use of thin bed masonry in the UK.
