The project is set in historic parkland and part of the building is built within the walls of an existing cow byre. The project is located in an area which is prone to vandalism and both buildings have a series of folding shutters, which enable closing down at night. The project required careful cost planning throughout in order to deliver the high quality spaces. Blaise Castle has won a RIBA award.
