Market Lavington Community Hall will provide a multi-functional space for local community events.
The Centre has been designed with a large, high hall space created using six large glulam portal frames, giving a wide uninterrupted clear span. Further facilties, including toilets, meeting rooms and a kitchen are constructed with traditional load bearing masonry with engineered timbers. This allows the roof to cantilever, picking up the skylight at the apex of the building without breaking the span.
